Great product!

I love these candles. I don't really notice any 'honey' smell one way or the other but this could be because I tend to burn essential oil at the same time (using their Tea candles). These candles are a very healthy alternative to regular candles... no toxic off-gassing from petrochemicals or lead from the wicks as experienced in regular candles, and no soy off-gassing like the alternative soy or soy/beeswax candles sold in the health food stores.They arrived very quickly and were well packaged so there wasn't any breakage. I also purchased the Tea candles and I like them just as much. I will continue to buy these two sizes from this company. I would buy the larger sizes if they offered a better price, but these two sizes seem to be the best price-point - they get really pricy as the size increases and I'm not sure the added beeswax justifies the much higher price on the larger sizes.These burn very evenly but, like some other reviewers, I'm not getting the long burn time claimed in the description either. But I'm not disappointed as they seem to burn longer than the usual candle. I'll try switching to tighter-fitting holders to see if this helps extend burn time (it doesn't seem to help with the Tea candles which I am burning in the holder they come in which is a exact size-match). But either way, the price here is great - about 33% less than buying at Whole Foods.I recommend these beeswax candles - they seem to be the real-deal. :-)

Pure beeswax transports me back to the smell of candles in the church when I was a child. These candles, though expensive, let me experience again the peaceful atmosphere of my parish church. I used these candles on Candlemas Day and gave one to each participant in a day of reflection. The old time Catholics appreciated them the most.
