Great pump, but oh so loud!

Bought this pump to replace a Mr.Gasket pump that started leaking after very little use. I chose the Holley pump because it's rebuildable. The pump works fine, but it's the noisiest pump I've ever heard. OK for racing applications, but pretty loud for street use. I can hear it over the exhaust which is pretty throaty. I'm planning to build a housing to hopefully trap the noise.

Low Pressure

Could not get over 3 PSI and was closer to 1 PSI. Engine would not run over an idle. Called Holley tech line and they concluded the pump was defective. Returned the pump.On the positive side,,,, Amazon did promptly refund the cost and shipping, as well as return shipping.Although the Holley pump was defective,, I am very happy with Amazon and the return action.

Great pump but a little loud

This pump is the best elec fuel pump I have owned. It has little curent draw and has never let me down once. The only drawback is the noise. It is not a very quiet pump and when the top is off my Jeep it seems even louder.

Good watch for the price paid

Bought this watch for my wife, she likes it."+"+ Stylish & expensive-looking+ stainless steel case and bracelet+ has a date"-"- Not too good for a small hand. Though it is possible to adjust the bracelet to different sizes, on a small hand there will be a long part of the band left (under the "top layer"). It is difficult to make this part invisible, as it tends to come from one of the sides.- The clasp is tight. Hope it will be easier to open and close after some usage.- The combination of the brushed metal dial and the golden hands makes it difficult to read, especially in dim light.- The golden "piece" is actually just a thin film layer on the inner side of the glass.

Near perfect

This is my second Skagen watch. My first one, which was almost identical to my new one, lasted ten years of daily use. I love the two-tone combination of gold and stainless steel. My only disappointment is that, at a glance, it is difficult to tell the minute hand from the second hand. I think the hour and minute hands should be slightly more heavier than the second hand. Otherwise, I love the profile design of this watch including where the comfortable mesh band meets the watch face.

My Skagen watch arrived quickly. The price was very reasonable. I did not receive instructions (for the watchband) or any registration card. That was what struck me as the difference between ordering it from Amazon and buying it in a store. Otherwise all is fine and I would order again. I like my watch a lot!

Holley Truck Avenger 670

I purchased this carb for my 79 Bronco (351M) that I use for offroad use. This carb is the next best thing to propane or fuel injection. I have had this truck in some hairy situations and I have had no stumbles out of this carb. This is a great carb and I dont even like carbs!

Holley Truck Avenger

Do not expect to the Holley Truck Avenger to be a "bolt on and go" carb. It has a serious flat spot just off of idle. Seems to be a very common problem with this carb, especially on vehicles with a cam or engine that is not stock. However, If you are able to "tune" the carb so that the off idle flat spot goes away it will be the greatest off road carb you could ever find.

Great Carb

This carb worked as advertised straight out of the box. It bolted in place and every thing fit perfectly. The only adjustment that was needed was to go down one step with the jets because of the altitude where I live (above 2000 ft.). I used to experience a drop in engine rpm's just going over a speed bumper. Now I can 4 by it over the roughest terrain without the engine even a skipping a beat. The carb is pricey but worth the peace of mind knowing that the engine is not going to stall simply because the terrain is a little uneven.

Extremely disappointed

I love the look of this watch. It's simple, the perfect size, and has an extremely low profile face.However, the pin on one of the latches kept falling out, so almost every day before putting it on, I would have to reassemble 3 tiny pieces.I tried taking it to several jewelry stores, but no one will work on a Skagen. It has to be sent back to the manufacturer for any repairs. The warranty only covers the watch itself - not the band or clasp.Ultimately, after wearing it perhaps 20 different times, the band busted right where it attaches to the watch face.I called Skagen, and since the band isn't covered by warranty, I could ship it to them and pay approx $35 to have it fixed.I'm pretty bummed. I don't know if this particular seller has second-rate skagen watches, or what, but my experience was terrible.

Beautiful, thin, light all purpose watch

Simple but stylish, can go from casual to business. Very light-weight. I love it. The clasp is a bit tricky - at first I thought it was going to pop up all the time - annoying - but then I figured out what I was doing wrong - it is actually very secure, if you latch it correctly.

Poor Quality

I loved this watch when I first recieved it but I have quite a collection and don't wear any one watch often. Bought this one in July 2012, it is now January 2013 and I've only worn it 3 times. On the 3rd wearing the band came loose from the face and at this point I can only get a partial refund. NOT COOL!! I have one other Skagen that I purchased at the same time (a browm dial) and now I'm almost afraid to wear that one. Like this one, it is thin and nice to look at. I will not even consider another Skagen in the future. Looks and feels like quality, but NOT!

This review is for the Carb, NOT what was delivered...Please read

I ordered this carburetor from Amazon and received it quickly like I always do from Amazon Prime. I noticed that out of the box there were a few things that seemed odd such as a bent throttle linkage. I installed it none the less and found I was having lots of problems with it not wanting to idle properly etc. I called Holley tech service and found that there were several things out of the box not right. The choke was out of adjustment, the accelerator pump was way out of adjustment etc. Holley recommended I get a replacement carburetor. I ordered another from JEGS Performance Online and it arrived much better. It was solidly packed inside the box with a foam packaging that was NOT in the one I got from Amazon. In addition, the supplied parts were sealed in the bag and the one from Amazon was not. Therefore, I can only come to the conclusion that the one I got from Amazon was previously used or tampered with due to the issues and packaging problems. When the installation items were floating around in the bottom of the box I figured it was because the bag was not a sealed bag but I later found out it should have been.Now, as far as my review for the carburetor, it works GREAT! I have the one installed on my Chevy 350 ZZ4 Performance motor and it woke it up! I previously had a replacement Quadrajet installed and it just did not have the pep that this gave the motor. Looks good, installed nice, and I am very happy with it.

a double disappointment

This watch was given to me as a mother's day present- well actually the first one was, I now have a duplicate. In the original one the red second hand fell off. I sent it to Skagen and they replaced it. The leather bands are proprietary and you can only get them from Skagen- for 40$ each. None of the metal Skagen bands fit this watch. The battery (size 321) runs out quickly( less than a year). I keep it going for sentimental reasons and because I find it attractive, comfortable and reliable. But a high maintenance watch relationship was not what I had in mind. No one I know who wears Skagen has had this kind of trouble. It seems to be unique to this model!

Holley 570 CFM Carburetor

Bought this for a 1973 Chevy Impala, had a few problems installing it, but that was because of user error and not any problem that the carburetor. If you have a traditional air intake on your car, you will need to upgrade to an open air intake system that has slots for the floats of the carburetor to fit into. other than that, this thing runs like a champ and actually gives me better performance than the old 760 CFM i had on it before. i would highly recommend this.

Great Replacement Carb, Holley Street Avenger 570

This was for my 1966 Convertible Mustang. I have owned this car since 1983 (first car in high school)and when I bought it, it already had an after marketing Holley 1850 carb on it. I had rebuilt that carb a number of times over the years, but the last time I did, I had some trouble with it and decided to cut my loses and buy a new one. I have heard great things from friends on the Holley Street Avenger, exspecially on small block fords. I have been very happy with it, but I would caution everyone to to not pay too much attention to the instructions about not adjusting the idle mixture as every engine could be different and I think the electric chock staying on for 5 minutes in south florida is way too long. Bottom line just be ready to make a few adjustments like you aways would.I shopped around and this was a good price for this carb.

Squeeze Lock Dive Knife

Bought about a year ago and I haven't heard a complaint yet. Unfortunately dive knives for the recreational diver generally are not used all that often. But what I can say is that I know the person who has it dives often and with the knife. And they haven't lost it and it hasn't rusted. It's a slim, easy to handle dive knife, that you can use for limited activity. If you need to use your knife a great deal it would probably be a better idea to get one with a larger handle. But a larger handle, means a larger, heavier knife. This knife is light, small, and you can find many places to attach it to yourself or your gear. So, for now, it's a good product, no problems that I can find.

Great Knife

Never rusts, good size handle w/ a smallish blade that can fit in most spaces and is sharp. I keep this on my chest rings and have a pair of titanium shears in my BC pocket as a backup. The locking mechanism is extremely secure, it won't fall out and has a positive clipping action when you return the knife to the sheath so you'll know it's in there tight.Just outstanding, buy this knife first. I no long carry my big dumb leg knife now that I have this guy and shears.

Amazon did its job Holley not so much

Item shipped fast as light , arrived packaged well . installed well EXCEPT there was no linkage adapters to hook up gas pedal and kick down cable. With last carb I bough these items came in the box this time they did NOT and it cost me 15.10 to buy parts at a local store that sorta fit .. So I give product a 4 and thats generous as I am pretty mad about it on a Saturday evening. When it says direct replacement and it does not allow you to hook up basic linkages i would suggest it be listed as universal .........
