5Bomber!
By RM
The seller (mountaingear?) was very receptive in my interaction. I had a request to not get a black bag as that would bake in the sun, and they handled that great.I use this mostly just as a crag bag, I've hauled it up maybe two pitches thus far.I find it quite comfortable to carry. The entire harness dismantles and packs safely away without any drama. The buckles on the arm straps are plastic, so you'll want to pack it away before you drag it up a rock face. Those buckles strike me as the weakest part, but, if you're in hauling mode you really are going to pack away that harness it's not an issue. The top enclosure has no dry bag type sealing system, so in rain water might get in, depending on how you packed it and folded that top flap over. No big deal. It's pretty convenient with it's current opening.I bought this with the intention to use it as a pack I could haul occasionally and for that it's great.I imagine it would be great on big walls, but I have no experience there. If I could change anything it would perhaps be to make the top enclosure more care free regarding keeping out rain.In short, this bag rocks. Good size for all the gear you'd need in a day out climbing.

5Excellent basic photo printer
By M. Jarvis
Before this printer, I was loyal to Epson for photo printing, but my last experience left me fed up with ink clogging their permanent printheads. I decided to try this machine, and I couldn't be happier I did. With the Z816, Lexmark has come to rival similar Epson machines in print quality and is blowing them away in speed. My pictures look even a little better than on my old machine, especially when using the optional photo cartridge that provides 6-color printing. And now I don't have to use all my ink in clean cycles. The speed of both typical documents and photos is very impressive, and the automatic paper type sensing is a cool feature. This printer is quite basic, but that makes it an excellent value if you're like me and would always use your computer to print photos even if you had a printer that could do it alone (old one did--never used that feature). Can't beat it for the price.Installation was a breeze for me. I've installed the printer both locally on a PC and on a remote PC across my home network without any problems whatsoever.

5Great Printer
By Mike
This printer was one of the best "basic" printers I have ever owned. It is very speedy and has great quality, it is a snap to install and tells you how much ink is left and all of the things you need to know before it is to late. This printer is great if you need to print anything, but of course for the price, it does not have a scanner or anything but is a great photo printer.

5Superior Low Cost Printer for High Speed Black Printing and Color Photos
By HWWoman
I thought that I had lost this printer for good, but I brought it back to life. I use this printer everyday all the time for high, speed black text printing in the quick mode and it delivers. I refill the black cartridge, so I know that I am taking my chances with the print heads eventually not cooperating, but turns out this time at least it was the cartridge and not the printer that stopped working. If you are looking for a reasonably priced, fast printer for both good black text and photo capabilities, look no further. The photos that I have printed (and those I have done sparingly since I normally use snapfish for ordering photos) have been excellent on photo paper. I have not as of yet refilled the color cartridge because if not done right (as I've learned in the past), you can end up with muddy, off colors - expecially skin tones. But if you print lots of black and white (sometimes up to 500 pages in a week), you will be pleased with this printer. To refill your cartridges, go to atlantic inkjet for bulk ink, installation tools and instructions. Just realize that eventually you will need to buy new cartridges, but that's after many refills. Don't let the high cost of inkjet printing get you down! And I also want to emphasize that I generally opt for the quick mode and the blacks are still rich and true, not gray as in draft modes from other printers. (...)If you can get this for less than the regular average selling price, then it's well worth buying.

5Awesome MP3 Player!
By A Customer
Pros: -Very small and thin, about the size of a credit card. -Extremely easy to put songs on and very fast with the USB 2.0. It only takes about 5-8 seconds per song to download to the player depending on the length of it. -The equalizer is really nice especially since you can customize it. -The battery was fully charged right out of the box and took about 5 minutes to get everything going including installing the software on my computer. -The volume goes up nice and loud and doesn't loose clarity or anything. -The radio has very good reception and never has static. -The screen is very clear and has a nice sky blue backlight. -The leather case is also very nice and handy. Overall I couldn't have picked a better MP3 player with all that the MuVo Slim offers for only $160. Cons: The only complaint that I have is the ear buds that come with it. They have really good sound, but they are so big that they don't fit into my ear and just fall out. Also the latch on the battery compartment is a little fragile, but that isn't a big problem.

4Snazzy top pocket mp3 player
By N. Caine
After having a Memorex mp3 player die on me in the 4th month, I read a lot of reviews and the Muvo series seemed to get top marks for performance and reliability. The Muvo Slim even got the top recommendation from a prestigious Consumer technology-review site. One of the best things about it is the lithium ion rechargeable battery, which even recharges quickly through the USB port. I went through a lot of batteries before. Even if your mp3 player gets 10 hours on one battery, if you work out or walk to the bus stop every day, that can mean 1 battery per week -- that starts adding up quickly, believe me!I ended up going for the Muvo Micro instead, but that's only because it has an arm band, and I go running. I actually like the credit card shape of the Slim better, and it fits excellently in a top pocket. But I finally got my hands on one in person, and I noticed that the nice leather case doesn't have a place for a belt clip or strap, so even if I had created my own arm strap, there was no place to guide it through.Hope this helps someone else who was thinking the same thing.

5This thing is amazing
By Me Gustan Libros
I just got mine out of the box and fooled around with it for a couple of hours. I honestly did not know they made stuff this cool. No it can't hold a week's worth of continous play like an I-pod, but then again it's about three hundred dollars cheaper. The recording mic. works well and you can record stuff off the radio. And it's so damn small. I am completely and utterly satisfied, so satisfied that I decided to sit down and write this review at 1:00 in the morning. If you've even thought about getting an MP3 player, this one is great.Second Review: This review is written about five months after the above review. I'm responding to some of the negative reviews here listed about the muvo slim. I'm sorry it didn't work out for you guys, but as far as I'm concerned, the muvo slim is still the best MP3 device available for under $100. I am an avid skateboarder. I've taken about five good slams while using my muvo (one time landing more or less directly on top of it) and it's never had the slightest problem. I don't think I'd run over it with a car, but it's pretty tough. Battery life is still very good and it has never malfunctioned at all for me. I love it.

4You have to have it....
By Robin Taylor
this is far better to use than pouring concrete so the shed will stand up....The only drawback is the explanation for the wood floor base, there is much more that can be done so as to not have to undo a process because it wasn't the correct time to accomplish it.

1BenQ: MONITOR - OK... but... SERVICE - Unbelievably Bad!!
By Marcus Proteus
I bought a BenQ 17" Monitor for my personal use at home. The BenQ monitor was selected more for price than for performance; as I really only need good text display in my application, and I am not particularly concerned about high speed graphics. When the monitor arrived, and after it was installed and working, I must admit - I was pleasantly surprised. The overall quality of the hardware (fit and finish) was fine; and the screen image was better than I had expected. However, during my warranty period, one day I was greeted with a pair of white vertical lines running down the entire screen when I switched the monitor on. Knowing from experience that glitches will happen from time to time with any technical component, and assuming a failure in the LCD matrix, I wasn't too worried. It could be easily fixed, or if not fixed, replaced.I contacted BenQ Tech Support, via e-mail, to find out what to do next. (This was July 11, 2005.)This is when my first real problem began.I didn't hear back from BenQ Tech Support for 11 days. When I finally received their e-mail, it said nothing more than that I should call Tech Support. (This was July 22, 2005.)I then called BenQ Tech Support, and after being disconnected several times, I was finally able to have an intelligent conversation with a BenQ Customer Service Engineer. I was given two options: Repair and Return of my original monitor; or Replacement with a refurbished monitor. I chose replacement, as it was explained that this would be a faster solution. I was then given an RMA Number for the return of my monitor, and was promptly e-mailed a UPS label for pre-paid shipment of the monitor to the BenQ repair facility. I still had the original packaging, and so I dutifully re-packed my monitor. I immediately visited my local UPS store to send the package to BenQ.Two weeks had so far elapsed since my initial problem with the monitor - a little long in my book - but now everything seemed to be going fine at this point. (This was July 25, 2005.)This is, however, when my real problem begins. After nearly three weeks, and still no replacement monitor has arrived at my door, I again call BenQ Technical Support to ask about the status of my monitor. To my surprise, they explain that the monitor was, in fact, shipped on July 29, and delivered August 2. BenQ had never contacted me to tell me that my replacement monitor had been shipped; but still, this might have been good news. However, the monitor, in fact, had not been delivered; at least not to me.While still speaking on the telephone, I am told by BenQ Tech Support that I must contact UPS and make a claim. I immediately contact UPS, and am told that I cannot make the claim; the shipper must, in fact, make the claim. After again speaking with BenQ Technical Support, they indeed agree that they must make the claim, and they will follow up on my 'lost' monitor. (This was August 9, 2005.)I now wait the appropriate '10 business days' for the claim to be processed. During this time I receive several calls from UPS to discuss the specifics of the 'lost' monitor delivery. Finally, I again contact BenQ to see what is happening. They say that they know nothing about the claim, but agree to contact UPS. While I am on hold, waiting, they finally return to my call and tell me that UPS has agreed to pay the claim. As soon as they receive payment from UPS, they will ship my replacement monitor. (This was August 23, 2005.)Today is September 1, 2005. I have been without my BenQ monitor for more than 7 weeks. During this timeframe I have contacted BenQ Technical Support, via telephone, numerous times. Each time I have either been disconnected, or I have waited interminably to speak with a Customer Support Engineer. Not once during this 7 week period has BenQ contacted me - neither via telephone nor via e-mail - to provide me with any information about my monitor. There are some simple questions any person might ask BenQ:1.) Why does it take 11 days to respond to a Technical Support e-mail query about a faulty monitor?2.) When shipping a monitor, why is the customer not informed - so that in the eventuality that something goes amiss, a 'missing shipment can be reported in a timely fashion?3.) When a shipment is 'lost', why is the customer informed that they must contact the freight company?4.) When the freight company accepts liability, and agrees to pay for the claim, why does BenQ not ship the replacement monitor, instead of waiting for the actual payment to arrive?5.) Why is the customer never contacted, during an entire eight week ordeal, to inform him of the status of his 'Warranty' repair/replacement product?6.) Is it really reasonable for BenQ to expect a customer to wait for 7 weeks for 'Warranty' replacement of a key component of their home computer system?And... there is one further simple question that any potential buyer of a BenQ product might ask himself:1.) Is it worth the low initial cost on this product to risk having to deal with BenQ for nearly non-existent Technical Support and 'Warranty' service?I've asked this question to myself, and the answer is a resounding 'NO!' The answer is 'NO' for me... and for anyone else whom I might speak with about BenQ products. As Chief Information Officer and Chief Technology Officer for several large corporations, I have, in the past, had the opportunity to approve the purchase of technical equipment worth hundreds of millions of dollars. Never before have I seen such negligence in handling the 'after sale' problem of a customer; and never again will I put myself in the position where I am subjected to such negligence.

5Great quality and a generous warranty from this Taiwanese Manufacturer.
By R. Hook
I bought this monitor on a whim because it was on sale at about $200 less than usual + my CRT was nearing death after 5 years of use. The sales guy recommended the FP737s to me because BenQ have a great dead pixel warranty (unlike ACER or LG)..basically the warranty states that from the factory there should be zero defects...if you find one in the first seven days from purchase you can arrange for repair or replacement. The monitor i bought had 1 permanently white pixel on the right side of the screen..So when i called BenQ Australia and advised them of this annoying pixel they immediately organised a courier (at no cost to me) to take the monitor away for inspection...2 weeks later they sent me a brand new monitor absolutely defect free and crystal clear. Im a happy customer. If your after good value and decent service..you cant go past this BenQ Monitor.

5Thrilled With First LCD
By E. Bakke
This was my first LCD purchase, and simply put: I'm thrilled!! This was an excellent replacement to my old 17" CRT. 5 Stars mainly due to value. It's no Sony X-Brite monitor, but for $315 with a 16ms reponse time and DVI, I can't complain. Zero ghosting, fabulous colors - I was hesitant about the BenQ name, but I'm glad I made the plunge.
