Yes there's a bnacklight and it's a great phone

I have to admit, I almost did not get this expansion handset for my panasonic phone set-up. The previous reviewer said that it did not have a backlight for the clock, that is not true. I have it set up next to my bed and the backlight has two intesity levels. So, now I have a great 5.8 gig phone with a nice little clock radio/alarm. I'm happy.

Great phone

I had no choice but to go 5.8 because the 2.4 phones were causing my wireless internet to drop. And the reason I went with this set is because I switched to vonage and did not want mess with the existing phone wiring. So I bought this phone system with 3 additional handsets. They work great. And the clock is back lit. I don't see brightness settings but the default backlit setting is good enough to make seeing the clock in the dark easy. And the ability to store 5 radio stations and have alarm clock functions is great. I do have one handset not registering though. I am working with Panasonic on that.

Best phone I've ever owned!!!

This is the best telephone I have ever owned. The reception is great!!!(And yes it does have a back light on the clock.)I love the speaker phone, it works great and anyone I have spoken to using the speaker phone feature informs me I sound clear with no breaking up. I also love the different melodies for the ring tones, it has one that has a soft melody so it doesn't scare me from my sleep if someone calls late at night, or early mornings. Not having to run wires to a telephone outlet is another great feature too. Just plug it in your wall and register it to the base unit and your in business. It works great all around the house even the basement.I very happy with it!!!

A frustrating mess for you and your kids . . .

A rare LOTR toy that is an utter piece of junk. It does not come preassembled, so you must (try to) attach the head and wings. The wings constantly fall out when moved, and the head will not snap into the hole supplied at all. The leg joints are too weak to support the weight of the body, so the thing constantly tips over. And -- although you get a wraith to ride it -- the wraith's legs do not bend, so he falls off. This is a complete waste of your $ that will frustrate you and your child. Don't buy it!

ITS HEAD FELL OFF!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

When I went to toysrus i saw this toy and thought it looked awesome. So i bought it and got home and i couldnt get the head on so i pushed it in too hard(i guess) and it broke. Then when i put the head in it would fall right off. I thought this was a fell beast not fell head!!!!!!!!! Although my dad did fix it and it works fine and i still play with it off and on.

A grown-up's view ...

From a collector's point of view, I really like this rider/beast figure. It comes in several pieces so you have to assemle it to its full wingspan and length. Very detailed, but I don't think its very durable in the wings because of the small connection to the body. Probably not a durable toy for youngsters. What's disappointing is the scale of the Nazgul rider compared to the beast. For a 7-inch black rider a properly scaled beast should be about 4 feet long. It would have cost too much to make that way, I suppose. Good figure overall but unable to be posed with other 6" figures due to the scale problem.

Solidly built, compact size, a tad on the heavy side. Not fog nor water proof; the lens cover are not attached to the body, and may get lost once removed. Great image quality, smooth zoom operation. A great compact binocular.

Brand name binocular, superb optics, really great price!

I've owned several binoculars prior to this type, this is my 2nd Nikon, the first one being the regular Action 7X35. As with any Nikon optical product, the optics of these binoculars are superb. The Bak-4 High Index Prism optics offer sharp,detailed images with little or no distortion. And the sharpness is amazing. The optics enhances the images and with the 7-15x magnification, there is very little you cannot magnify. As with all binoculars that doesn't have image stabilization, you will have shaking at the highest magnification. Smart thing to do is use this with a tripod of which, this binocular is equipped with a slot to screw-in your tripod. Very handy if you want to extend magnification without getting dizzy in the process. The rubber armoring of pretty much solid, offering protection from the usual bumps and drops. It also comes with rubber caps to protect both the eyepiece and objective lenses from dusts and smudges. Also comes with its own case to store it when not in use. Great binoculars so far. What you have is a brand name maker of optics at a great price. Highly recommended!

Heavy, good optics and zoom

You buy 7x35's for better depth of field, so that you don't need to constantly refocus as objects move toward or away from you. These will do nicely, plus they have a good zoom to 15x if you need it.The binoculars are on the heavy side, surprisingly so. Mine arrived with the left and right sides a little out of alignment, but my eyes can compensate after a second. The brightness was good for a 35mm objective lens. All-in-all, a good deal for the money.

This is one of the best rated HI-DEF Plasma TV's!You will want to be highly suspect of any seller that has an unbelievable price and insists that you email them before purchasing. They will offer a scam escrow company to handle a transaction outside of Amazon. Amazon.com is aware of this scam but unable (unwilling) to provide any responsibility in this area, thus providing a free advertisment arena for scams.

Great TV

I have only had this TV for about 2 weeks. It produces an unbeliveable picture in HD almost photograpic. Like one of the other reviewers I am running Comcast HD so I came in on a DVI to HDMI converter cable. If you look on the net a little you can find the cable for about $25 (computercablestore) instead of the $120 for the Monster cable. The audio on this TV is also one of the best I have heard. Almost sounds as if they have put in a subwoofer, the bass is very deep for a TV. Standard TV also looks better than a regular set. If your looking for a great high-def set this is it.

BUYER BEWARE!!!!!

Watch out for those new or used plasma TV being advertised for less than $1500.00. Those sellers have a rating of "just launched" it seems that the same person or group of person used several different email address and they ask you to contact them first. Be very careful, all they need is to have you wire the money to them, you won't be covered by Amazon if you do that.

Product was delivered in time promised. I have had Galco Combat Master holsters before. Galco is an excellent product, somewhat expensive but you get what you pay for.The only negative is that the picture on the ad is not a Combat Master for a Glock 17 it is for a revolver. Suggest seller proof reads ad before submitting.

First off I'm highly biased towards Galco leather,having bought,used & carried in them for years.If you can only get 1 holster for your sidearm get this one!You can carry either straight up /FBI rake on strong side or you can carry cross-draw.Their leather is beautifully worked & will last a long time.

Galco holster

Great leather holster. It's got two different positions for tilt. It is a bit tight to insert the 1911. I'm hoping that over time the gun will break in the holster. The retention strap is designed for hammer down gun carry but you can make it work for "cocked and locked" carry.

The perfect holster
