Very Satisfied

Bought this work station over two years ago for work purposes and have been well pleased with the desk. I do wish the part of the desk where the key board goes was larger, l am requiring more ergo equipment to prevent iniury and said items are a little larger than regular equipment. All in all this desk has served mw well.

This cable does everything I would expect it to do.AS for the reports that the cable connectors pull apart when removing the cable I have not had that problem and I have removed them several times by useing the pull tab connected to the connector.

Excellent Value, Great For Smaller Systems

As with all electronics, there is a clear trade-off between value and quality. If your home theater budgets puts you in the under $300 (probably more like under $200 today) range, this is an excellent receiver with plenty of inputs and features.I upgraded to this unit after owning a Yamaha Pro-Logic Receiver for nearly 7 years. I immediately noticed a huge difference. A couple of things worth noting...For one, this is a 6.1 system. I don't know how many people are running 7.1 systems, but if so, this is probably not the unit for you since you most likely have a large home theater with larger speakers that could probably use some more power than this offers.Now, for the many positives. This unit features a subwoofer pre-out, which seems to work a lot better than the prior connection I had on my Yamaha. The sound is really outstanding for both DTS/DD applications and normal stereo. The digital inputs (3 optical, 1 coax) are assignable to any function (i.e. DVD, Video 1, etc.). The power of this receiver is pretty impressive. I have 2 B&W DM302s as front, a B&W CC3 for a center, and a B&W ASW500 sub, and the system rocks. I have an optical cable connecting my laptop to the receiver, and even 128 mbps mp3's sound wonderful.I purchased it for $199 from J&R Music World- very good value. As with most consumer hi-fi equipment, there is always the risk of product defect or burn-out mentioned in some of the other reviews. Onkyo seems to offer a good warranty (2 years I believe). Go for it. Perfect for an apartment or smaller living room.

Good choice for apartments

While the Onkyo TX-SR502B is not a high-powered receiver, it's still a great value for a starter's home theater receiver, esp. considering the namebrand and high quality you are getting. The 6.1 digital surround is awesome; get Onkyo speakers to go with this. The moderate output power is actually a boon for those of us who live in apartment buildings, since we can never crank up our speakers to high decibels anyway. (Those living in a house with the next neighbors 10 miles away should get a receiver with more power.)BTW, if you don't already have your own speakers, you might want to consider a home theater in a box (HTIB) system that includes both the receiver and teh speakers. Onkyo and Yamaha have some high-quality systems for decent prices.

you cant ask for anything more, they say it has a small power, it depends on your room size, i have a 12x 15 room & power is more than enough, just be sure to buy good set of speakers, dont be fooled by BO$E brand they are overpriced, set up your own home theater, more exciting & less than half of that cube speaker & stuff

This line keeps getting better!

I bought this as soon as I saw it in the store, and it's a winner. I love the fact that the Happy Family sets aren't all pink and purple, and with the exception of the Birthday Party/ playground set they're well-made for the price. This little grocery store is adorable! The shelves are actually big enough to hold all the grocery pieces, plus some others I've found from kitchen sets I've purchased. The only serious flaw is that the apples are all in a big bunch, and you can't just take a couple off the shelves to play with. Even though I bought this for my collection, my daughters begged to play with it, and they've had a ball. They love the little cart for Ryan, and it's held up very well. For the price, this grocery store is loads of fun, sure to keep kids of any age entertained.

My daughter thinks this one is great. We were lucky to get the shopping Midge along with this supermarket set. Lots of pretend food to play with. Since Mattel has come out with Happy Family dolls, houses, and gift sets we have managed to get all of them. I am running out of room to put these things. I see that Midge and Allen have some new neighbors. Can't wait until I find these sets. Thanks MATTEL!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

What a wonderful deal for this set!

My daughter received both this set and the Midge with shopping cart set together from Santa this year. She and I both love this toy! It's fabulous to be able to actually put the items on the shelf and have them stay! The only thing I can possibly find wrong with this is the little cardboard squares that fit on the back of each shelf. They have pictures of the foods/items that belong on that shelf to give the store that fully-stocked look about it. I assume these stay on the shelves, or at least I KNOW we're leaving ours on there for appearance sake...however, they tend to fall over from time to time, knocking over the food on the shelf...or they are buckled in the middle, making it difficult to set the food on the shelves...my solution is a simple one...tape or glue and you're all set.I'm more than pleased with this set as well as the Midge with shopping cart set. They both go hand-in-hand and I most definitely recommend purchasing both together for that special child in your life.

Nice Toy

I picked this set over the other 105-piece set offered here because there are so many more pieces for the money. Once I get it, I notice that this is a different set with somewhat different pieces, and all the pieces are made of plastic, while the other set is made of wood. I don't mean this to be a bad thing, because there are a few ingenious-looking connectors that you can turn to change its angle of connection, and I doubt it can be made in wood the same way. I bought it for my 5 year old son who finds it a little difficult to poke the sticks into the connectors because they fit rather snug, but after a while he got used to it. He isn't used to it not having instruction like Legos, though, so he just looks at the picture on the can with frustration until I build it for him. I then take digital pictures as I dismantle the project so that he can then use them as instructions. He does OK. The set is bright colored and sturdy, and it makes a beautiful and realistic Ferris wheel that stands about 2.5 feet tall, complete with ride chairs that remains vertical as the wheel spins.Besides not having instructions, my other complaint is that the entire set fills only half of the can if you just dump everything in, and the can is made out of paper (except for its top and bottom). I think they wouldn't have gone broke if they made the whole can in tin, and it would have lasted a lot longer. Overall, I am happy with my purchase, but I may consider buying the other set too.

An improvement over the wooden ones!

I was wary of getting plastic tinker toys, but we've been pleased with how they've held up. I saw numerous reviews on the wooden once with complaints about breaking and splintering, and we haven't had any pieces tossed out yet after more than a year. These are the only toy in our house that is played with each and every day, by both of our children. We make lawn mowers (my son's favorite), snow blowers, baby swings and strollers(for my daughter's doll), airplanes, buildings, scooters, umbrellas, flowers, animals, you name it. My 2 year old has no trouble manipulating the pieces to make simple things (the flowers and umbrellas are her specialty), and my 4 year old gets more and more creative about how he accomplishes things. Definitely worth the money and tripping over them all of the time. My husband and I are getting better at making things too... he's downstairs making a BBQ grill out of them now!

Some advantages over wood

True -- the old time wood tinkertoys seem more "real" somehow -- but my guys like the plastic because it's easier to play with. The rods fit better into the little holes, making spokes or windmills easier to create. Great colors too. We have both this and wood tinkertoys and they are interchangeable. We have found that the plastic breaks more easily but it does take intentional and considerable effort... (as does the training process toward good toy stewardship).

Excellent TIE Fighter!

This TIE Fighter is an excellent toy that is practically dead-on accurate with the movie design. The pop-off wing panels are a great feature and adds a ton of play value. The only drawback is that this TIE fighter should have included a TIE Fighter pilot like the older toy it is based on to make a complete set. But on the other hand, TIE pilot figures can usually be easily found in stores. The cockpit is quite roomy, although I think Darth Vader from the "Power of the Force 2" line a few years back might be a tight fit (that's where Darth Vader's TIE Fighter comes in). I absolutely agree with the other reviewer who said that this should be bought with an X-Wing Fighter. Very, very highly recommended!

AN EXCELLENT BUY...

This TIE fighter is excellent!! Just like the one I had when I was 7, only much better!! The detail is amazing. No dumb battery compartments for the "lights and sound" features--because there aren't any. The panels pop off for battle damage and have, so far, stayed on when I wanted them to. The old one I had would blow the panels off after enough playtime and would really bother me after a while because you would just set the thing down and the panels would pop off. Man, I hated that!! This one doesn't seem to have that problem yet. The color of the ship is nice and the price isn't TOO bad where you couldn't buy 2 or 3 to have a nice, little fleet. I think you do NOT have to buy the X-wing to go with this because the Red Leader X-wing fighter is a much better toy to buy. The detail is way better and it just looks better. These classic Star Wars ships are loads of fun and can stand the test of time. I loved them 30 years ago and my kids love them now.

Star Wars Trilogy Series Y-Wing

This is the same Y-wing fighter for the Hasbro 3 3/4" Star Wars figures that was released several years ago as a Target exclusive, save that it is painted with a red trim, blue canopy frame, and silver body. It is essentially a copy of the origional Kenner Y-wing from the early 1980s, but without the electronics and removable R2 Robot unit. The landing gear retract using a switch, a bomb can be attached and dropped by pushing a button, the canopy opens sideways (like in the movies), the cockpit is detailed and seats one figure, the ion cannons elevate and rotate, the R2 Robot's head turns.I was surprised when I found this at a Toys R Us, and quite pleased as I had previously been unable to purchase the rare POTF Y-wing released at Target. My hats off to Hasbro for providing a second chance. The vehicle, while undersized in scale, nonetheless appears accurate to the movie version. It is NOT loaded with funky, innacurate features as some Hasbro Star Wars vehicles are. A removable R2 unit (like on the large X-wing just released) would have been preferable, however. The paint job is nice and includes some wear and tear. All in all, the Y-wing is a good addition to a Star Wars vehicle collection.

Finally got a new Y-Wing

I knew I had to get one of these Original Trilogy Series Y-Wings when I heard they were coming out since I was never able to get one of the Target exclusive POTF Y-Wings from a few years back.When I first saw the pictures, I wasn't sure I liked the paint job. But when you look at the ship in person, it actually looks pretty good. The chrome/silver color of most of the rear and the engines looks pretty cool. There are even some copper colored lines that look like tubes and pipes. The detail molded into the body is pretty impressive. The red and blue on the cockpit and front of the ship looks pretty nice too, although I still prefer the yellow and white of the POTF version. There are a few black marks scattered around the body to simulate battle damage and wear which is a nice touch.The ship comes fully assembled with all decals applied right out of the box. Hasbro did a good job of securely packaging the toy so nothing would fall off during shipping. I was pleasantly surprised when I saw that the the engine pods were all straight on my ship!The Y-Wing comes with a bomb that you can attach to the bottom. Push a button just behind the rotating R2 head to release it. There is also a sliding lever further back that lowers and raises the landing gear. As a previous reviewer noted, the front landing gear doesn't retract all the way, but it isn't too bad. A rotating laser cannon on top of the cockpit can be manually swivelled around.I still wish the ship had a removable R2 unit. The rotating R2 head that comes with the ship just doesn't look that good to me. Having a space to put in your own R2 figure (like on the Red Leader X-Wing) would have been nicer.Overall, I still like this ship a lot. If you are like me and missed out on the Y-Wing that was released a little while back, you will want to pick one of these up. It is a good looking ship and is a great addition to anyone's collection!

This is a great ship and is probably gonna dissapear from stores and websites soon get it while you can.The only problem is the landing gear is very weak,but other then that this toy deserves a thumbs up.So get it quick before the price rises!
