The Get the Edge program has 10 cds, even though it is a 7 day program. It also comes with a vhs introduction tape and a combined workbook/journal for this program and the Personal Power set. Personal Power Classic comes with 7 cds, and is also a 7 day program. The workbook/journal for this program is already mentioned above. Neither Get the Edge or Personal Power Classic are available on dvd, they are only marketed as audio programs. There is also a certificate for a free online personal profile (worth $225) and a $100 discount certificate to any Anthony Robbins Live or Robbins Results Ongoing Coaching Program. However, the discount certificate may be expired. Right now I've listed the complete set at a discounted sale price, regularly these retail for $299. I have already done the course and it is life changing. This set was given to me as a gift, but I already owned a set.

Disappointing

I am a big Tony Robbins fan. I purchased his first program, Personal Power II and found it very helpful. I improved my confidence and decision making skills with that program and the direct benefits well outweighed the cost. Get The Edge was not as beneficial for me. I found it to be not nearly as focused and organized as Personal Power. Tony seemed to be all over the place in this program and resorted more to story telling than anything else. I listened to it twice and returned it for a refund. Not recommended unless you just like listening to Tony talk.

Not an easy quick fix! Works if you do the work!

I really enjoyed the program, I disagree with the other review on this product completely. Personal Power II is a day to day regimented program over 30 days where Get the Edge in my opinion gives several tools to be used over broader areas of focus. Like learning anything new it takes work. Don't expect to just listen to the CD's and wake up the next morning a new person. If you are dedicated just like anything else it will pay off.

Fun and High-Energy (...if a little shallow and unfulfilling)

Anthony Robbins is a very inspirational speaker. Just listening to him in the mornings does, I believe, get me more excited about the day to come, and the more excited I am, the more I can get done.There's a lot to recommend about Anthony Robbins.On the other hand, this particular product--Get the Edge--is a slight letdown. He concentrates too much on anecdotes, and pulls material from his workshops (usually anecdotes, too), and jumps from topic to topic instead of really going in depth. For instance, one CD is relationships, the next is health and fitness and the one after that is finance. Personal Power II is a more extensive, in-depth presentation, and if you're new to Anthony Robbins I suggest getting that over this. (They cost just about the same.)About Robbins' using these CDs to sell his other courses and seminars, etc., I have to say: I don't doubt that he'd like to sell his other stuff, but I really do believe he's genuine and sincere in his efforts, here. He mentions his other products from time to time, but does not pitch them directly. If it is a sell (and of course it is), it's a very soft sell.In short, Robbins is exciting and fun to listen to. This set has value just because of that. However, because he covers a wide range of topics, and covers them quickly and mostly anecdotally, this particular set leaves something to be desired. His other line, Personal Power II, is more in-depth and therefore, in my opinion, is a better overall value.
