I NEVER LIKED FRUITCAKE BUT WHEN I TASTED THIS ONE IT WAS THE BEST CAKE I EVER TRIED. IT IS WELL BALANCED AND SATISFYING. GOES GREAT WITH COFFEE. FRATERS: A COMBINATION OF THE DARK CHOCOLATE AND THE SPICES OF THE FRUITCAKE AND THE RICH FRUITY FLAVOR CREATES A DELIGHTFUL TASTE TREAT AND SURPRISE! IT IS A WONDERFUL SPECIAL DESSERT FOR SPECIAL COMPANY. AND THE HONEY: WELL NOW I TELL YOU THEY ARE A VERSATILE SPREAD GREAT FOR BREAKFAST, AFTERNOOON TEA, COOKING, MARINADES; MARVELOUS COMBINIATION OF HONEY AND SUBTLE FLAVORINGS! REAL WINNERS!

I ordered the sampler as a gift for my mother (the only one in the family that likes fruitcake). She shared, everyone loved the fruitcake but the honey was the big hit. I have since reordered the honey. This turned out to be her favorite gift.

The Monks Fruitcake is the best I have ever had (sorry mom!). The cake is moist and the fruit and nuts are fresh & delicious. But when they decided to dip it in chocolate (Fraters), now that was taking it to Heaven! All I can say is "Try it, you will love it!"The Creamed Honey is wonderful on toast or cooked with chicken or pork or just put it in tea or eat it by the spoonful.It is nice to support people who support us with prayer too!
