Excellent clock!

This clock works so well that we're going to get another one. It set itself within the first 30 minutes (the instructions indicate that it might be overnight before the clocks sets). It's wonderful to know the exact time.

When They Say Give it Overnight, They Mean It

This is the third La Crosse Tech clock I've bought for my home in southern New Hampshire. I keep coming back because I like knowing my clocks will keep themselves accurate to within a second, and the clocks are inexpensive and look good. However, they are not perfect especially as far from the antenna in Colorado as I am.I opened up the package (by the way, you need a screw driver to remove the clock from its box), put in an AA battery, and pressed the ET button. After this it took 12 hours for it to set itself the first time. I even helped it along by putting it in a west facing window. But that was weeks ago, and it continues to tick along. In a quiet room, I can hear it tick, so I'd advise against use in a bedroom.As for aesthetics, you can judge for yourself, but I think it looks nice, and I ended up switching it with the one in the TV room as I'd rather look at this one than the gray framed one that ended up in the bathroom.My other La Crosse clocks are 3 years old, and have given me good service, although sometimes the second hand will stop on one of them. (Perhaps it will not display seconds if it has not been able to receive an update for a while?) I've changed the battery once a year on the other clocks.
