Product Description

This carburetor provides maximum performance on street and mild race vehicles and is a universal 4-barrel carburetor. It should not be used with adaptors on spread bore type intake manifolds. It is 100-percent wet-flow tested and calibrated for street drivability and includes an electric choke with 2 x 4 street tunnel rams.

5Special application Holley 4160

I received my Holley carb very quickly, bolted it on straight out of the box. Fired right up and ran well without adjustment. To be perfect it required very minor adjustment This was a special application on a GMC 292 c.i. inline 6 cyl with an Offenhauser manifold.

5Worked like a champ! 390cfm 4bbl

I bought this to replace the (much too big) Eddy 600cfm on my 1974 CJ-5 4.2L that I inherited. I bolted it on and it ran MUCH better. I went to AZ emissions and passed the cruise but barely failed the idle test. I brought it home and hooked up my vacuum gauge, and dialed the idle down to peak vacuum. It was around 16.5-17 with the idle mixture screws both real close to 3/4 turns out. Went back to emissions and passed idle. Now I'm licensed and jeep'n. Once I finish work on the jeep body, I'll go back and plug in my wide-band O2 sensor and dial in the cruise jets and everything else. But for now, it works great right out of the box.Note that this engine has about 1000miles since rebuild, new plugs/dizzy/coil/everything. That may have helped on the emissions test. It does have a fuel vapor can, but no EGR or cat. Not required that year...
