I have just edited this review as of 12/28/11 to give this 4 stars. I was very frustrated for the longest time with both of the units I have because the charger didn't seem to work, namely, the walkie lights on the base kept flashing indicating the walkies were not charging.SOLUTION - spray can of Radio Shack Electronics Cleaner. You brush some of this stuff onto the contacts on the base and the contacts of the walkies whenever you're not having good contact and no more problems!By the way - I have 12 of the CLS 1110 walkies for use in a restaurant and they are AWESOME.
