Pretty quiet, but

The pump doesn't come with the standard suction-cup style mount to keep vibration away from your sump bottom and walls. So, I have it on top of a sponge with a another sponge between it and the wall closest to it. Now the pump is quiet.

I decided to go with Quiet One after reading several reviews and it only uses 65 watts to pump 991gph. One of these keeps my 400 gallon pond crystal clear and clean. This pump pushes water up just under 6 feet with ease.I recently ordered two more for my future fish room. These will be in my sump pumping water to my tanks. 65 watts is great and a great selling point.

I use this in my pond. it works great. I have it attached to a canister filter that i made for the intake side and it filters the water clear and pumps up to the small waterfalls for that added effect. I bought this one to replace an identical pump that lasted for over 5 years running 24X7.
