Wonderful Travel Shaving Brush

This is a great travel brush. The brush unscrews from the hard, plastic case which protects it during travel and can then either be used alone, or screwed upside down back into the case to make a single, long-handled assembly. I prefer to use it in the latter fashion and then leave it standing upright to dry.The bristles are on the firm side, however, so this brush has a rougher feel than a softer, premium quality, Super Badger Brush. Although I use the exquisitely soft, Truefitt & Hill Ivory Carlton Super Badger Hair Shave Brush as my daily brush, I occasionally enjoy this course, stiffer feel as the brush does not deflect too much when being dressed against the shaving soap or pressed against the face when lathering. The bristles stay stiff and splay out rather than bend over to one side, thereby allowing you to work the soap into a good lather using the somewhat prickly tips. The roughness is invigorating, but may prove a bit much on a daily basis year in and out. In any event, this is a great brush that will last a lifetime.
