Product Description
The DK1100 TP is a benchtop, entirely pneumatic powered, fully-automatic pocket hole boring machine. The only difference from the FP model is that it is contained in a short, benchtop cabinet that allows it to be built into a workbench or transported from your shop to the worksite. 110-120 psi is recommended to power the direct drive air motor, hold-down clamp and forward motion cylinder. The DK1100 series features a reliable, one-step drilling operation through a hardened steel drill guide to produce the pocket hole. The hole is round sided with a flat bottom that allows a screw head to seat flushly in the bottom of the pocket and the hole to be plugged with wooden dowel. The DK1100 series are built to be extremely quiet for operator comfort and their simple design results in very fast drill bit changes. A FREE demonstration video is available.

Very nice, and well built

The only negative is that you need to have a large compressor that puts out 8-10scfm to run this tool. I didnt read this anywhere in the description and when I recieved the item, I had to go out and buy a new compressor.

heavy duty machine for the production shop

I replaced an earlier model DK with this machine a couple years ago. It's a heavier & more robust machine than it's predessor. It's probably more machine than a hobbyist would need, but if you make your living building cabinets & furniture it's well worth the money.
