5The thing that's been missing from my hand...
By Caleb
well, not really. Quite excellent on nearly every level though.. The (short) swords are sturdy, elegant, and quite unique looking. My hands are unfortunate me, rather small, and cough, uh, elfin... Handling a sword with one hand is an unlikely proposition, but these `knives' fit like they were made for me... maybe they were... ;) The distinct design is hard to miss... no one's going to see them and be like, wow, what a dull piece of metal... nope, no how! The scabbards, which seem to be sold seperately, are quite attractive too, and a snug fit.kay, negatives... mmm, well, due to their size they'll be hard to transport without other people... possible cantankerous authorities, noticing... upon receiving though, i noticed some small smudges worked into the etching.... while it does give the blades an authentic war-worn feel, im not sure where from... oiling? scabbard wear? magic? Also, the color of the handle on mine was light brown, not white."That's not a knife... THIS is a knife!"

5Beautiful Workmanship
By Eira
These knives are incredibly high-quality. The design is flawless, the etchings on blades and handles are gorgeous, and the materials used are excellent. I was skeptical when I placed the order, due to bad past experiences - half expected the handles to be made of plastic, or some similar horror. My fears were completely unfounded in this case.We did have one small issue when putting together the mounting for the knives: As another reviewer stated, it was necessary to use gorilla glue to do the work of the long screw, which was far too short for the job it was assigned. However, the glue works fine, and the knives look authentically wonderful. And you COULD really kill a cave troll with them; blades are quite sharp. :)

5Completely awesome
By mag07
These swords are awesome. They have a good weight and feel extremely sturdy. They are very sharp so be careful with them. The design and detail on the blades and handles is amazing. The only problem I had was that one of the holes drilled into a piece for the plaque was too big so the screw would not fit it. I used superglue and it works fine. These knives are the real deal. I would definitely recommend these knives for anyone interested in collecting items such as this. It was well worth the money.
