A great buy!

I bought the 45 piece set as a birthday gift from me to me, and absolutely loved it! I was inspired to then add the covered butter dish, coffee mugs, fruit dishes and coffee server. Everything arrived very quickly and in good shape--except the coffee server. The handle was broken. I immediately informed Amazon and a new coffee server was sent out the next day. This set is so beautiful, I feel like cooking just so I can set the table and eat from this elegant set of china!

I have never had any problems with receiving this set of china. I consider this pattern to be quite elegant. Last year, I started with the setting for eight and have since ordered the entire collection from either Amazon or Mikasa. (They didn't have the mugs when I was building my collection and the cups are quite enough.) Platinum stemware goes perfectly with this collection. I searched until I selected Lenox Debut Platinum stemware. My sterling flatware is Oneida Damusk Rose which is a set purchased in the 1940's. All this sets an impressive table. I am 100% satisfied with the Mikasa Platinum Crown china and highly recommend it.

Don't be surprised if you order this item and it doesn't come for a year! I ordered this item in April and it is now July and I have yet to see it. The delivery date keeps getting pushed back month after month. . .
