5The Quick Hitch Review
By Doug
There are different types and brands of quick hitches to solve the tractor hook up hassle. This quick change hitch is actually Pat's Quick Hitch, made in USA by Greenwood mfg. It is the most versatile, as it will fit all types of 3 point equipment. Back up to the implement, lift the lower arms and "click" they are in. Then get off the tractor and hook up the top arm. To detach: unhook the top arm, lift the levers on the quick hitch and lower the bottom arms. Compared to other quick hitches this one leaves the most elbow room to hook up pto shafts. They fit easily on most tractors. Some may need a little grinding on the lower arms to get the fit. We found the manufacturer to have great customer service. It comes with some inexpensive washers that fit your hitch pins to stabilize the hitch. You will need 2 for every piece of equipment. An optional adjustable spacer bar is available to keep your link arms the exact distance apart. This may be in the way of a pto shaft, but it easily slips out of its mounting holes with out tools. Any type of quick hitch will move your equipment back from the stock link arm hole a few inches, and usually the adjustable top arm will be long enough to compensate. Only one thing, a 2 bottom plow, did we need a longer top arm to get it to work. We have used this hitch for 2 years on disks, cultivators, tillers , plows, mowers, seeders and post hole diggers with out any problems.

4Easy to install and very robust construction
By J. Burns
The quick hitch was easy to install and the construction is very robust (1.5 inch thick steel). Recommend watching some of the You Tube installation videos that are quite helpful. A couple of things that should be noted: (1) make sure the 3-pt connecting pins on your implement are extended long enough from the implement so the 1.5 inch wide hitch fits between the frame and locking pins/washer ... I had to loosen and reposition the pins by extending them out about 2-inches from the frame, (2) if using a back blade that pivots, make sure your blade can rotate at an angle so you can swing it around, and under, the u-bolts and the quick hitch. Both the U-bolts and quick hitch sit lower than the arms of the 3-pt hitch and will prevent swinging the back-blade around. I didn't realize this when I purchased the quick hitch but luckily my back-blade rotates and I could swing it under and around the quick hitch ...

4Premium Quick Change Hitch - minor caveats
By Gary H Kaufman
Attachment and assembly instructions easy to read and follow, and performance has been as expected with a couple of minor caveats. The lower pins on your attachments MUST be free of obstructions externally to work effectively. Additionally be advised that the Change Hitch extends about 2-3" more than your original 'traditional' lower arms which may require a longer top hitch bar. Also draw bars that would attach to your lower arms and use a lower arm stop (as opposed to a top draw pivot lock assembly may not work, since there is nothing to 'lock' the draw bar against. This is not a product that you want to regularly attach and remove as it can take about 30 minutes each time you go to re-attach. Overall however it saves me 10-30 minutes per attachment change out. If you do not have factory original quick hitch assemblies on your lower arms, this is well worth the investment.
