The WC0N-0.8D Wide Conversion lens decreases the magnification of your subject by 0.8x (35mm conversion of 22.5mm) when your C-8080 Wide Zoom is set to the wide-angle position. This will help you include more in the picture when shooting skylines, group shots, or houses, just to name a few types of shooting situations. The C-8080 Wide Zoom model requires the CLA-8. Note: Wide angle lenses extend the camera s wide-angle range. This lens is not intended for use at telephoto zoom settings. Additionally, use of the camera s built-in flash with this lens attachment is not recommended.

Wide Angle Performs Well

This is an incredible lens. Once it's attached to the Olympus C8080-WZ, it literally becomes one with the camera instead of feeling like an accessory attachment. It's big, too! The diameter if the front element is 3.25 inches; and the overall front bell diameter is 4.25 inches. The performance of this lens is professional-grade. And from a so-called "prosumer" digital camera? No wonder it's being used by the pros!
