"The clock is an emblem of a Shaker community because everything goes on time,"" wrote a Shaker elder in 1887. This elegant example, most likely the work of Brother Isaac N. Youngs of New lebanon, New York, was designed for use either on a wall or on a shelf. Now in the collection of the Groton, Masachusetts Historical Society. Solid cherry case, with pine back. Kit is complete with painted wooden dial, quartz-regulated movement (guaranteed 3 years), hands, and round glass. Movement uses two AA batteries (not included). Shown in Oil Finish. This furniture kit contains all the materials needed, except the final finish, including sandpaper, Shaker Oil Finish, hardware, and simple step-by-step instructions. Each component has been precisely fashioned to assure an accurate fit before you do the final hand sanding and finishing. Only common hand tools are needed to assemble our kits. Not for the beginner

Nice quality kit, but could be a handfull for some people. Easy to build box slightly out of square and that could create lots of other issues. Use a square and the correct clamps.
