This "Hawking OUTDOOR OMNI DIRECTIONAL 9DBI ( HAO9SI )" antenna feeds wifi to a "Hawking HWREN1" wireless-N range extender that broadcasts through a "Hawking HAI15SC" 15dBi corner antenna. This setup has smoothed a rather up-and-down signal through my entire house. Now my "Airport Extreme" in a "PowerMac" and my "iPod Touch 2G" can stream music all over my house. Some of the time I can stream video as well. Internet surfing is as quick as a click.

We mounted this off the front of our home at the first floor's window level using the 30ft cable to reach the basement router. (make sure you order a cable by the way!) I is set up on the side of our house that faces out barn. We have a wireless foscam IP cam in the barn and another outside of the barn to protect our animals and equipment. The signal is great. Before I could pickup wireless to 15 foot outside of the frontdoor...now over 300 foot away broadcasting streaming intranet video. Remember this antenna has to be in direct line of sight of where you want to broadcast (or receive). Easy to install.

Easy to assemble

Unit needs the 30' cable to go with it and a 20' pole you supply. Very easy to assemble! However, you will likely need a more powerful router as well!
