The Brigg 40 Parka is made from a heavy cotton twill base material (4.7 oz. per yard), coated with a specially formulated PVC (10.9 oz. per yard) for a total weight of 15.6 oz. per yard. Best Raingear in the World.

Grundens is legendary for providing raingear for the toughest customers of such in the world, commercial fishermen. Men that wear this gear face formidable odds in their daily workday, and Grundens fits their needs on a daily basis. Although not well know, Grundens of Sweden is among the best raingear in the world, it lasts and wears well, they are generous in both the backing and thickness of PVC coating their raingear and is well worth the expense compared to any flimsy rainsuit made in China. Purchase gear from Grundens and you will not be disappointed.

I work at construction sites and this jacket holds up great. It is super tough and keeps me dry. It is a nice shade of orange for high visibility but you can still wear around town without looking weird.

My son does snow plowing on the side and is exposed to the elements be it snow, rain, hail, sleet. Having been a lobsterman before his present job he remembers well the protection he had wearing Grundens. With that said .... I bought him the same gear for snowplowing. He is no longer wet or cold and is now a much happier snowplower. Excellent item.
