I ordered this product on Tuesday and it was shipoped the same day I placed my order, so kudos to the seller for processing orders in such a timely fashion.Since the seller is located in Massachusettes and I am in New York, it only took 1 day for delivery with UPS ground service.Before placing the order, I had contacted the seller by phone to inquire as to how this product mounts onto the bowl since it is unreturnable. The seller was courteous and responsive and was able to describe how the product attaches to the bowl.I was a little leery about ordering this item because it was unreturnable even if it did not fit our toilet. However, it is the only raised soft toilet seat which is molded to sit directly on the bowl without any unreliable clamps and it is not something which merely attaches to an existing toilet seat with velcro straps which can slip and does not give much elevation for a person recovering from hip surgery.I had seen reviews about the products with the clamps slipping off the toilet and creating a falling hazard, as well as the clamps rusting. The other type of padded cushion which attaches to an existing toilet seat with velcro straps also slips around and does not maintain its shape, which creates a falling hazard as well as a shrunken opening for the user to drop their waste into the bowl.This product has a hollowed out channel underneath it to fit securely over the rim of the bowl. It should fit a variety of round bowls since it allows you to flex the channel somewhat to create a custom fit over the rim of the bowl without affecting the integrity of the product or its stability. The product is actually a light gray color and not white. The exterior is covered with a matte finish rubberized material which is not slippery at all. The padding is dense and the seat maintains its shape and height and does not flatten out.I bought this product for a family member who is recovering from hip surgery and therefore needs the added height, and also needed the padding in order to relieve the discomfort of pressure ulcers and prevent the formation of future pressure ulcers.It is too soon to know whether it will relieve the discomfort from pressure ulcers and prevent the formation of future pressure ulcers.It is also too soon to know the durability of this product.Included in the box is a 2 year warranty for this product.

hesitated ordering due to price and nonrefundable policy and only one review by a buyer.Also had to call alimed to get more specific info suchas specifications and if fits elongated toilets!Should have better info in description.BUT!! SO GLAD I TOOK A LEAP OF FAITH AND ORDERED IT!!I'TS THE BEST!!COMFORABLE AND SECURE,CAN BE REMOVED AND REINSTALLED EASILY!ONLY NEGATIVE IT IS GREY NOT WHITE!!Hope it cleans easily and does not stain and is durable!!Thanks to the manufacturer,its the only one piece soft raised seat I have found and is great postop and users with back pain!!Fast delivery 3days!!

Don't be put off by the price of this toilet seat. I have tried a number of seats that did not work. I have severe lower back problems expecially in the tail bone area. This is very sturdy. I only weigh 115 lbs. so there is very little give and yet it is comfy. I think a bigger person would appreciate this as well. It's total padding - no wood or plastic. But the padding doesn't squish. It raises me up to a more natural sitting position, ie I don't fall into the toilet! I recommend this to anyone with back problems, have a low toilet or just want a little more comfort. A big plus is no hardware. It just fits into the bowl.
