this is a must have as far as boating when your risers get clogged your exhaust hose gets cooked and that could be another costor even more damage to your engine.i try to put the best on my boat sierra make good boat parts and don't want to get stuck in ocean with ores or towing costs and amoazon is where i buy most of my boat parts my friends could'nt believe me when i told them i'm getting my boat parts from amazon they thought they only sold things like mp3 players ect.. now there checking here first for things, oh and the riser if someone buys one or two there an inch shorter than original but no problem only makes it easier to install
