One of my better fountain pens. I like the platinum trim compared to my other gold ones. The price of Montblabc has gone up too high to be practical. It's more of a status symbol.

Already have a couple of mbs. Due to the lots of comments regarding this 145 i was very excited to have this one as well. When i finally bought it...well...a little bit disappointing. Don't know if because of the pen itself or the fact that the product announced did not exactly correspond to what was announced - according to the pictures posted it was supposed to be a special edition with a nice box, a cd, etc - actually i got a very std box and that's it. Had to call the seller latter to ask for the other items not sent ( box, cd) and apparently only the cd was sent... A little frustrating and disappointing...

This is not my first fountain pen but it is the first Montblanc I have. Very good product, good performance and excellent quality. I strongly recommend it.
