I own six CB radios of which this Bearcat is the only one that works in my pickup with the engine running - zero engine noise! Superb range even with my magnet mount antenna. I selected this one after reviewing the receiver sensitivity specifications and since I live in the California gold country foothills where cell phone service is marginal at best, the receiver sensitivity is very important.

Product looks very nice in my pickup. It functions just as well. I tested it today and able to converse with a friend over about 5 miles. I have owned nothing but Cobra's prior to this but I think that will change.

This CB radio is a great product. I've owned 2, one was stolen and this new one replaced it. I wouldn't go with any other radio. The old school dials have a great look and they are easy to understand. It is built like a tank. Also, I can't be without my weather channels. You'd be amazed how much more accurate the forecasts are coming from your local FM weather sites.
