This item is a beautifully crafted platter, it is heavy and very durable. The designs on it area work of art that pops out and are very detailed. It's shinny but not too gaudy. We purchased theplatter and the pitcher as a 25th anniversary gift for my sister. I know it is not silver but it wasbetter than silver and more useful than a silver tea set or something similar. In fact we have purchasedthis particular items for 2 of my sisters annivarsay's and they love it. We have one more sister to goand she can't wait for hers.

PERFECT FIT

I was looking for a non-swiveling riser that would hold my 46" Samsung TV and let me place my center channel speaker below it. I have to say that the TV Riser2 was a perfect fit! I have had previous experience with the Wood Technology company when I worked for a well known mail order A/V company years ago and knew that they made high quality products. This riser is solid hardwood and extremely sturdy. The finish is superb and is not a vinyl covering. You wont regret buying it if you are in the market for an item like this.

Works Exactly as I Had Hoped it Would

When I ordered my new stand mounted flat screen TV I knew I would have a problem locating my center channel speaker; there was simply no place to put it. I started researching options and found this TV Riser Two so I took the measurements and then measured my center channel speaker. It appeared the center channel speaker would fit perfectly beneath the Riser.When all of the equipment was delivered I assembled the TV Riser Two with absolutely no problem and found it to be very sturdy. It was designed to hold around 40 pounds more than my new TV weighed so capacity was well within design limits.It has now been installed for several weeks and is holding the TV and providing the much needed space for my center channel speaker; I couldn't be more pleased with the way it has all worked out!If you need space for your center channel speaker, or simply want to raise your flat screen TV a few inches this is a very workable solution!

Fantastic stand -- just what I needed

I'll bet I searched for a simple TV stand for at least two hours. Eventually bumped into this one outside of Amazon. All I needed was to raise the TV enough for my center channel speaker to sit underneath. Simple request but this appears to be one of the only, highly quality solutions!I found this stand on the manufacturer's site and was pleased to see I could buy it through Amazon. The price and shipping time was the same through Amazon or the manufacturer but I typically will use Amazon if I'm unfamiliar with the other seller.The stand arrived a little quicker than promised (note the add stated it wouldn't ship for 7-10 days).Stand is solid wood and has a smooth consistent finish. High quality, hidden hardware and clear instructions (obviously written in the US) made it a snap to put together.I'm extremely pleased with this product and highly recommend it! I hope you found this stand a bit quicker than I did. Somehow we need to get the word out!

THIS IS A GREAT PHONE!!

This phone is GREAT!! I wear glasses and have low vision, but do not need one of those giant BIG button phones, well this phone is superb, the buttons are big, but not too huge. heck, they look normal size to me, not so teeny-tiny like all the phone makers are making them nowadays lol. and that is what i was looking for. the 2nd plus, is that you can actually cleaarly read the caller i.d. area, it too, is larger. thirdly, as an extra bonus, the audio on the phone is adjustable. i'm not hard of hearing yet, i'm only 49, but do have one ear that is better than the other. well now i can adjust the volume to fit both ears comfortably. all in all, this is a superb phone and i heartily recommend it!

Excellent phone. Highly recommended!

I recently purchased this phone for my 84 year-old grandmother who is a little hard of hearing and needed a cordless phone with amplified sound. We couldn't be more delighted with this model. It is well designed, easy to use, and the earpiece volume amplification feature works very nicely. The blinking LEDs make it easy to see when the phone rings, and the caller ID has large easy-to-read characters. A great investment for $50.

Exceptional product

This cordless fone is just the one that I have been looking for -- for years. It is cordless, has a choice of 2 ringtones, each with a high/low setting -- or you can turn ringer off entirely. The best thing, though, is the light that flashes when the telephone rings; so you can have the ringer off and still see the flashing light. The base also flashes -- and it's not a tiny flash .. it's really visible from across the room. You can carry on a conversation without the annoying ring. I understand that this telephone is basically for the hearing or visually impaired, but believe me, anyone would be happy with it.And -- it is caller ID capable, has a redial button, 10 number memory, emergency button, etc.It is an exceptional product !!!!
