Best deal on the planet

I just purchsed the Infinity PRIMUSHCSCH Home Theater Pack of speakers. Look at (professional) reviews of the Infinity Primus speakers and you'll see these speakers were created for musicality first, although home theater sounds great, too. I first and foremost want a system that sounds tight and clear playing at all registers. This system delivers in all respects. It includes 4 Primus 140 bookshelf/sattelites and one center speaker as well as the sub (PS-8). I love the timbre of an upright bass more than the shaking of the floor in a movie explosion, and this sub is phenomenal at both. This package without the sub sells around $300, but look for the one with sub included and you will be blown away by the sound and the price.

Musical and Powerful

Combined these with Primus 360 front speakers and Sony SA-W700 subwoofer for super 7.1 sound at a reasonable price.Best for music and seamless surround sound; very pleasant sound but not earth shaking. Exactly what I wanted.

Infinity primus 150

These are recommended components in the high end underground Stereophile magazine, which rates speakers up to $100,000. It takes a pretty good speaker to even make the list albeit these are class E, with class A speakers being the state of the art.Surely one cannot expect deep bass since the bass driver is so small, but the midrange is so sweet and the high end is superb.The imaging is supreme for a speaker so inexpensive, it raises the bar considerably for an inexpensive speaker. Perhaps this is because of the Metal Matrix diaphragm tweeter that puts the tweeter's resonance frequency out of the audible range; read no audible distortion. Impressive achievment once again for Infinity.

Excellent for the Price

Despite its small size, this speaker provides a rather full presentation with a clear, not shrill sound. Even full orchestra classical music sounds good. Caution: Many suppliers sell this as a single speaker, not in the usual pair. I purchased online and all was well until I saw it at my local Circuit City for $20.00 less per pair. However, they will easily please you; they compare well with some I have in the $300. - $500. range.

Excellent speakers for the money

I'm a longtime Infinity fan. i bought my first set in the 70's and those speakers are still going strong. The reason I bought that first pair was because I listened to them side by side with speakers from other name manufacturers in the same price range. The difference amazed me. Crips, TIGHT sound reproduction. Infinity speakers consistently offer crisp, clear, distinctive, and true sound reproduction. The Primus 150s and the Primus 360s I paired them with continue that tradition. The first time played a DV through these, i kept wanting to look outside. Sounds that i'd never noticed before when playing that DVD appeared to be coming from different locations within and outside the room. A startling experience the first time around. You might find speakers as good as Infiity in the same price range, but you won't find any better in the same price range. If you want a quality listening experience without spending megabucks, Infinity is all you need to know.

L screen to protect pitching Dads

I liked the price the most- only $99. Liked its portability, able to dis-assemble it into 3 small squares, to fold up and place in the back seat, or trunk of car. Easy to re-assemble. Cheap, easy to use, really no excuse not to bring it to every batting practice to protect pitchers and pitching Dads. Other similar models were from $169-over $300. A must for players older than 12YO and Dads who pitch BP of all ages.

useful and functional

This product works well and was easy to assemble. With 14 and 15 year old players we will no longer pitch without a screen. The only weak spot were the wheels. They actually were hit by hard ground balls and broke right away. I simply replaced them with a rubber wheel I got from the hardware store. The screen has functioned perfectly and does what it is supposed to do, keep the pitcher from getting hit. The fact that it easily breaks down and can be taken to and from the field is ideal. It is lite weight and easy to carry. Good product at a good price and I would recommend it to any team.
