Very good product. Be aware that the handle is heavier and thicker than the average razor. If a thinner profile is more to your liking, try the Truefitt & Hill Carlton razor, also available on amazon.

Classic

I use my straight razors and shavettes most of the time but when I'm in a rush I need something that will not slice me up to shreds so i go to the trusty 5 blade disposables and I'm going to do it with style and Truefit & Hill has plenty of classic style.This is a truly, truly beautiful razor. Good feel and well balanced . It only gets four stars for now because I have not had it long enough to see how it will stand the test of time. The fit and finish is good so I dont think there should be any problems, but you never know, time will tell. I wish the price was a tad bit lower but I guess when you buy top brand names you pay top dollar prices.So far I'm really digging it and it looks very nice when you see it displayed on the sink top in my bathroom. I'm happy.

Luxurious Razor

While I actually bought this for my husband, I have to admit, I use it, too. The razor is elegant with it's ebony handle. It is nicely balanced and has a comfortable grip so there is no danger in it slipping out of your hand. The swivel head follows the skin for a close, clean shave every time. Overall, it's much more pleasant to use than a standard drug store razor. It's an easy way to add a little pampering to the daily routine!

I love Truefitt & Hill!

I recently began wet-shaving, about 10 months ago, after getting tired of the razor burn and $30 refill packs of the disposable "uber razors" with their 'super cool" marketing gimic names. Since switching to wet shaving, I cannot and will not ever go back (although I must admit, I do keep an electric razor in my car for those mornings when I wake up late for work or just forgot to shave.)When starting out, I researched the subject quite a bit, and learned of and read so many reviews on the Truefitt & Hill product lines. So I figured "Why spend the money on a cologne, aftershave or scented shaving cream when I can't smell it to know if I like it!?". Well, thats why I bought their sample pack. I know I can't say where, but use your head and I'm certain that you can figure out where you can get THEIR product samples from. Anyway, That's where I learned that I love this cologne. It's masculine but it doesn't overpower you if you use just a few pumps.I'd have to say that it's musky, with a bit of cedar, citrus and vanilla. My wife adores it and can't get enough of it!Ya, it's over $70, and it's on the high end of most colognes out there today, but it's so worth the cost. I've had this now for three weeks and have used it daily, and can barely see a difference in the quantity within the bottle. Oh, and Amazon has this at the lowest price point that I could find ANYWHERE.

Very nice, subtle cologne

This cologne IS pricey, but is a very nice wood/cedar/musk type scent that is not overpowering. It comes with a pump spray bottle that distributes just enough, and this bottle should last for quite some time with semi-daily use. I use Taylor of Old Bond Street "Mr Taylors" shaving cream, and have been looking for a cologne to complement the cream scent. The Mr Taylors cologne I have has a very different scent than the cream, but this Truefitt cologne is spot-on with the cream. Very similar scent to the cream, and it is so subtle that I almost cannot detect it by the end of the day. Exspensive yes, but very high quality cologne.

This smells amazing.

I used to get Armani Code. This smells 10x better. Lasts all day yet isn't too strong. Very clean fragnance.
