Good knife, but still a bit overpirced.

Blade and axis lock are great... the handle material, no so great. The finish of the handle looks and feels cheep. The shape and contour are great but the handle feels like cheep plastic. Benchmade didn't even bother to sand the little nubs from the injection molds. All and all, i like the knife and have been carrying it for a few weeks now but i wish the handle was made from another material. I would expect this knife to be around the $50 range, not the $80 range.

Just buy it already! You won't be sorry that you did.Perfect EDC blade and the blue color really makes it a non threatening knife to non-knife folks.

Benchmade IS best made

Superb balance, action, inventiveness, ergonomics, etc.Only wished BM (and Spyderco), my favorite manufacturers, would stop marketing "Zytel or Fiberglass or G10" handle scales as sophisticated materials. they're only cheap lame plastics nicknamed to sound like you're getting so much for your money. There are great new tech silicones and rubbers today they should be experimenting with instead to make their knives more "hand friendly" and give them that "can't put it down" feel. (witness the materials iPhone cases, etc...)The Manufacturer that stars using new (and available) options with real good characteristics for their handles will develop and edge (pun intended) over the competition.

Awesome pants

These are the best track pants I have ever owned. The material is a soft fine synthetic knit and fitment is great--neither baggy nor super tight. Form-fitting. I use these for running and biking. Love the tapered legs with spandex band on the ends and zipper (although not needed). My only gripe is the sizing. Based on the Sporthill size chart, I bought Medium Long. I am 6', 185lb and usually just buy medium pants. The Medium Long was about 2" too long! Still doable since the form fitting allows for some bunching but unless regular pants are too short or you like wearing your pants above your hips rather than on your hips, I would recommend plain mediums (or the your size but without "short" or "long"). Now some men have really beefy legs--I would not recommend these pants to you. In terms of tapered track pants, these are the most form-fitting I have tried on. If I had massive legs, they would be tights, not just pants.Downside: side pockets are there but not zippered like some of SportHill's other pants.

Have owned Sporthill pants since mid eighties, this pants are the gold standard (bought my wife a pair a week after receiving mine--she was borrowing them). Sporthill is at tip top of running gear companies.

Beautiful, well crafted knife.

Perfect size - exceptionally well made - gorgeous. You get everything you pay for with this little knife, and considering how many years you'll probably have it you should think of it as an investment over something plastic and flimsy. Al Mar is designed in the USA and made in Japan - I'm guessing by sword-smiths who've been handed down their art for generations.
