SUBSTANTIAL WATCH FOR THE PRICE

YEMA by Seiko of France Men's FLYGRAF Alarm-Chrono...YEMA by Seiko of France Men's FLYGRAF Alarm-Chronograph Watch YE969 - Movement 7T34B I purchased my Yema "FLYGRAF" two months ago & am very pleased with it. The watch keeps accurate time and has a very rich look, especially with its two tone stainless steel case and the five gold colored stems. Also, the small dial's red hands are a nice contrast against the black and silver face. The only minor complaint I have is that the watch has a somewhat hard to read date dial. The date numbers are only 5,10,15,20,25,30 with four dash marks between each date number. The red hand points exactly to the mark or number but their quite small. So, I would really give it 4-1/2 stars. I have a small wrist and usually these multi dial watches are huge, but the Flygraf is of medium size. The Flygraf has alot of heft and is elegant yet looks masculine. They call Yema the Rolex of France & since I own a Rolex, I agree. A classy looking watch!

Exceeded All Expectations...

I bought this unit out of frustration with my inability to listen to Audible.com's content in my car. I toyed with buying a mini Ipod but I am sooo glad I bought this unit instead...here's why: Imagine sitting in your car in the garage of your home, about to leave for work, and deciding to "download" your newest Audible content (e.g. that day's New York Times) though your home WIFI network into the unit before driving off....imagine a FM transmitter that actually works and broadcasts a crystal clear signal to your car's stereo (even overriding conflicting weak stations)....It's true, this thing will connect directly to Audible.com through your WIFI network (or any available WIFI connection) without any computer involved and without any cables. The connection with Audible - even with a cable - is different than most other Audible players (hint - you don't use Audible software), so please be sure to read the directions, those who don't will be very frustrated (applies also to the WIFI connectivity options).A "must-have" for all Audible.com audiophiles....but if you're just looking for an MP3 player, this unit would still serve you well but you should also look at competing players...

Cut the cords

I started trying to find one of these from the moment I read about them. Being from a Minnesota company, I was even more interested. The device promised to address a couple of key things for me. The wifi link would allow me to put new music on without worrying about leaving an adapter at home or at the office, and the built in FM transmitter meant that I wouldn't need an extra gadget to use it through my car stereo.

I won't bore you with the hassle of trying to buy it at the "national electronics retailer" who had the initial exclusive on distribution, but I finally did get one. It has basically met all of my expectations. I have a couple of minor quibbles about the firmware, but they have been releasing some patches to it quite quickly, all seeming to tweak the usability, so I imagine these quibbles may be all gone by the time you are reading this.

Battery life seems OK, but it's tough to get a precise sense of it. I use it both in the car through the radio (the ability to have it use any FM frequency plus the ability to find the most "open" frequency is great!!) and with headphones while working, and I don't think I've had it down past the halfway point for power.

If I have any complaint, I guess it would be that the included case isn't so great. I would have preferred a clear/flexible plastic front over the display and controls. Then I could more easily use it while gardening while keep it protected.

An additional aesthetic consideration. A couple of friends who have seen it don't like the look of it so much. I agree that it could probably be better in some ways, however, it looks great in a car with a brushed-metal dashboard.

At the price, it just can't be beat...

I'll keep it short and simple. Small player, somewhat small drive, LOTS of extra features. Syncing over Wifi is cool. SoniqSync app refreshes 'mixes' on the device on scheduled updates (i.e., overnight). Decent FM tuner, digital scanning. Decent headphones. FM broadcasting built-in, full range of the dial, auto-scans open frequency. With the new price, if you're a gadget freak, you should have one of these.

Don't look too close!

A must-have for the horror collector, but a little disappointing at close inspection. Compared to Skinless Julia, who is detailed beyond belief, this figure pales. The head is good. Nicely done. But when you look at the neck, although possibly movie accurate, it's just a red neck. Limited muscles and detail. The hands are the same. The tendons look more like titanium robot tendons than human ones. Again, as compared to Skinless Julia, who raised the bar at Series Two. Frank is Series Three. Instead of the same or even greater detail, NECA's figures got worse with each Series? My mistake if it's more movie accurate. But as far as a figure's details go? Knife in hand is nice, and holds tight. But it looks fragile. Look out! Rat in left hand fits, but doesn't hold in too snug. Might want to glue it on. He stands on his own, but seems to be prone to falling backward. No holes in feet for base display stand. Why not have at least one hole? Wing tip dress shoes are cool, but sloppily done. Articulation at neck, shoulders, wrists, and waist. He and Julia make a nice pair. They're both evil, but Julia has the looks. It's as though this figure was put together in a hurry. Don't get me wrong, I do not regret my purchase. I would buy this figure again. But...NECA recently re-released Jason, The Crow, and King Leonidas. All three are better than the originals, in my opinion. I vote for a Frank re-release.

Come to Daddy

The Hellraiser figures have been long overdue and are a minor Godsend (or demonsend) to fans of this bloody, demented series.It hardly gets better than a figure of Uncle Frank, not quite whole yet, donning his (bloodied up) suit and clutching a dead rat and his trusty switchblade.Like Julia, Frank's skinned form is very detailed and appropriately grisly. Like most of the Hellraiser figures, this is a sturdy, well made figure.Easily one of the best figures in this series. Nice job by NECA once again. A demented addition to your shelf, as if you'd have it any other way.
