Worth every penny!!!

This is a high quality brush. Correction. It is a very high quality brush.As soon as I got it out of the box, it was clear that this was in a class by itself.A quick brushing each night results in a more attractive head of hair.So please that I gave a Kent brush to my son for Xmas.

Vendor is excellent

Kent quality control seems spotty. My brush shed a large number of bristles. But the vendor replaced my 1st brush with a new one with no hassle at all, and the replacement is fine.

A not-quite-gentle gentlemen's hair brush.

First off, this thing looks great. Women have all their fancy hair things (I don't know what half of them are..curlers, straighteners, irons,...to me, it looks like an operating room!) so I love having a simple, classy, masculine looking brush to keep things organized. I don't have super long hair, but I always understood that frequent brushing would result in softer, smoother hair.I splurged on this brush, partially for looks, but also as I remember Kent brushes being the cadillac of sorts in the brush world (at least for men). I got it in the mail - my first impression is "wow, this thing is hefty". It is larger than I imagined, but fits in the hand perfectly. And the brushing works well. I noticed that brushing for a few minutes a day leaves my hair less chaotic, softer, and more manageable.The only downside is that the bristles are quite aggressive - this may be the result of my hair being a little shorter than is intended, I'm not sure - but it can definitely kick your skin's butt if you don't go easy on it. But I love this brush. I'm not sure if a cheaper brush would have the same results, for the price I paid for this, I hope not, though I'm sure you could get a better value somewhere. Nevertheless, this is one of those things in life that costs more but is worth the price. The way I see it is if you want a great hair brush to last you a lifetime, this at least warrants consideration.

Its great

About 20 years ago I got a hairbrush like this one (not this brand) and it was completely worn out but I kept on using it. I got this one because I really needed a new one. Now I remember why I was willing to pay so much for a brush. Its wonderful.

A brush for the generations

My parents gave me one of these Kent brushes when I graduated from high school in 1958. I still use it and it's as good as new after all these years--holding up much better than my hair has! I am now ordering one for my grandson whose hair is so thick a normal brush won't go through it, just as mine once was.

My second bristle brush

When I graduated from high school, my mother gave me a bristle brush. I used it for over 40 years and lost it on a recent trip to Dallas. I saw this one and had to have a museum quality brush. I've Had it for a week, and I love it.

What a difference between a 2012 brush and a 1988 version

My new Kent hair brush arrived a good time. I have combed by hair almost exclusive using a Kent MS 11 hair brush for 20 plus years or so. Alas the old brush had begun to loose some bristle and I deemed it time to replace it. Well, the new one arrive and I quickly noticed that the number of bristles (small groups of bristles) have been dramatically reduced -- perhaps by as much as 40% ! It is certainly not the same brush that I had expected and used so comfortably over all these years.
