Splendid Knives!

I recently purchased the Shun Classic 9-Piece Block Set with Bamboo Block and I realized that I have never owned a really good knife before, even though I have had some "name" brands. Slicing, cutting, chopping is effortless, like cutting through butter. The bamboo block is very attractive, however it is about 11" deep and with the projection of the knives up to 4" beyond that, it is a formidable presence on the counter. Overall, very happy to the point of euphoria!

The Sharpest Knives Ever

I was introduced to the Kershaw Shun Knives in a local kitchen store, but decided to purchase a set at a better price through Amazon. These knives are absolutely top quality and make cutting even very thin slices a joy. Because of my appreciation for the quality, I purchased two more knives as Christmas gifts for my son and daughter in law.

Absolutely fantastic!

Shun is, by far, the most reliable knife manufacturer I have come across. The sheer quality of the delivered product is astounding! I ordered the 9-piece Classic knife set with accompanying block and have never been more pleased with a set of knifes in my life. The blades are incredibly sharp and have little need for sharpening with the accompanying steel; the handles are shaped to fit your palm perfectly, and the design on the layered steel makes each knife unique and visually appealing.I will be looking to add more Shun's to this set to fill out the empty spaces in the block!
