Niles Audio SSVC-2 Speaker Selector with Volume Controls

Works great and I like volume controls with click steps so it is easy get back to your favorite settings if you need to temporary change in a room. It has impedance adjustment in the back and that is very good. I would have liked it to accept bigger gauge wire. It does accept wire gauge in the specs so I am happy with this product and would recommend it.

Well Made, Quite Impressive

I have a Sonos ZP120 amp and wanted to run two sets of speakers from it. The Niles does the job beautifully. When I opened the box, I realized how solid and well-made it is! Each speaker set plus the amp has separate removable connectors (tough to remove, I recommend a small flat head screwdriver to gently pry them free). Very easy to set up and use. Works like a champ. The separate volume controls are a must! Even the stickers with the names of the rooms (for identifying each set of speakers) are well made -- thick paper, easy to apply.Highly recommended!

Quality Product

This is a good piece of audio equipment. The connection mechanism has been improved over older models and the impedance compensating function is also an upgrade.However, be careful as to the manual. As hard as this is to believe, my unit had instructions for a prior generation of this product. The instructions for the connecting device have you pull the connector out of the back of the switch. If you're successful, you will have rendered the switch inoperable.Otherwise, good unit.

outstanding control, but too heavy

I really love its ability to control the speed of zoom and of focus. It also appears to be a solid unit that could take lots of hard knocks. However, it is way too heavy - its tank-like construction isn't for me, for I am a one-man operation and treat all my gear with care. Because of its heavy contruction, when mounted on my tripod arm as intended, I have to lock the up-down pan control to keep it from immediately pointing toward the sky. I may try to mount it on a bracket that I'll make for my belt, or I may wind up buying and using a lighter weight control such as the Giottos 2020, even though it doesn't appear to have a way to control the speed of zoom or focus.

a little flaky, you NEED the weights

I got this so that I would not rip the ceiling off my garage with a heavy bag. It is a good stand, but you MUST use (at least) an additional 2 plates of 45 pounds on the sides and two 25 pound plates on the back peg for it to be steady while you punch the bag. Else it slides and skits all over the place. My buddy actually bolted it down to the floor and that worked out best.But if you do not want to make wholes on your garage floor (bolting this thing down is a mission!) The extra weights will run you at least $125 plus sales tax at a sporting goods store since Amazon does not sell weights, add to that the $40 speed bag, the $60 heavy bag, and the $25 anchor, and this is really becomes pricier than first imagined. I spent a total of $400 before I can throw my first punch at it, but it is a complete solution.Still, it is a good product, 3 stars worth, I wish it would be more solid, because even with the weights, the stand still sometimes wobbles with a hard punch and the speedbag stand makes a lot of noise when being used (more than normal)

Punching bag stand

Solid piece of equipment. Will only give it 4 stars because the speedbag stand has a built in mount. My speed bag has its own mount so now i have o buy another speed bag. I cant remove the mount because it is made of particle board and we all know its not a good idea to remove stuff from particle board once it has already been put there. Other then that its a solid piece of equipment.

Good stand

Good stand. Holds heavy back steady. Heavy Sand bags work as well as weight plates. Speed Bag adjuster and tightener is a little cheap. Used pliars and nuts and bolts to hold speed bag plate in place. Now very little movement.
